#0 A collective of framers

We compose
in the wide shot.

We were building before it paid. AI just made the instrument faster.

#1 Philosophy / The Frame

FIG. 01 - THE WIDE SHOT

A frame is a decision about what to include.

Most frames get drawn too narrow. We stay wide, and look for polymaths: range teaches the shape depth alone misses.

16x9 is the aspect ratio of that wide shot. It's also the promise that nothing we build stays boxed in.

#2 Join the Frame

Join the frame

Framers, not specialists. A handful a year. One good answer is enough.

  • Write it straight. We can tell when it's inflated.
  • We're not scoring grammar.
  • One true answer beats three polished ones.
  • Talk like you would to someone who builds. Not like you're applying for a job.
  • No resume needed. We're not reading one.
  • Every answer gets read. Not skimmed, read.
  • There are no keywords to hit. Just answer the question.
  • We care how you think. Not where you studied.
Describe a synthesis you've made across two unrelated fields.
Tell us about something you built that nobody asked for.
What did you teach yourself last year, and what did it replace?

#3 Experiments

Six explorations in agentic systems.

16X9

What we built. What it taught us.

#01

Agents in the Field

Running quoting and scheduling through agents taught us where autonomy needs a human watching.

#02

The Stretch Point

One research pass can carry a week of content before the quality starts slipping.

#03

Long Memory

Give an agent a universe of deals to remember and the humans start trusting it before they should.

#04

Writing Like Someone

We taught a system to write like a person, then found exactly where the disguise breaks.

#05

Let the Data Decide

Letting analytics decide what gets written next made us faster and slightly less curious.

#06

Quarters Into Days

Compressing brand to build from quarters to days brought back speed and cost us some judgment.

Select a system

Three systems, one substrate. Select a node to isolate it.

#4 Mycel / A technical note

Mycel connects to Google on your behalf for sign-in and basic Workspace directory information only, not Gmail, Calendar, or Drive content.
